Welcome to the Grief Educator Certification Course! I'm so glad you're here. The course starts on Sept. 23, 2025. I am so happy that it's finally happening. I'm grateful that you're here and can't wait to go through the course together.

Thank you for being a part of this special course. I'm excited to begin this journey together.

TUESDAY LIVE TEACHING 
Dave will be teaching LIVE on Tuesdays on Zoom at Noon Pacific Daylight Time. That's 3:00 pm Eastern Time
Teaching will be 60 minutes
You can find the schedule and link under "Zoom Information" on this training website
You can join live or we'll post the replay the following day on your teaching platform 

WEEKLY LABS
Please choose from one of the 2 lab options (Thursday at 6-7 pm or Saturday at 9-9:45 am PST)
Labs will be 45 minutes
These labs will be interactive and if you can join with your camera, please do
There will be time for Q&A during the labs

IMPLEMENT TEACHING
Recordings of the labs will not be available 
In order to receive your certification, you must attend a lab each week
There will be a couple of make-up labs available if you need to miss one or two

HOMEWORK
Each week you'll be asked to complete a brief homework assignment
The home work assignments can be found on your training platform under each week's teaching
The intention of the assessment is to internalize the teaching and apply it to your community
In order to receive a certificate at the end of the training, you must complete all of the homework assignments

I have created this teaching to empower you to help others
Take this time for yourself to dig into the content
I understand that things will come up in your schedule during this time. Be patient with yourself
We're all in this together and we will learn from each other along the way

PLANNING
This course is designed to be flexible
But creating habits is so important for planning and success 
If you can, choose a consistent lab to attend 
Set aside time each week to watch or rewatch the video and complete your homework
If you miss a Tuesday Teaching you can always go back and watch the replay
But do plan on attending the lab that week
